For the first time ever you will be able to choose what paint color you’d love on your spoon and chip carved design in the handle and the finial.

This spoon is my most requested and loved spoon design! I carved my first one back in 2016 and it’s travelled all around the world with me which you can actually see in it’s wear and patina. It’s served hundreds of meals around the table, and even served up grub around the campfire.

This spoon gets the most attention because of how it’s aged. So each spoon will have it’s own unique distressing and character. If you’d like the paint to be fresh and untouched, there is a dropdown menu item for that as well.

Right now I will have a limited amount of options as I use natural pigments with milk paint and It’s all based on availability.

Have an event or a wedding where you need a large set of them? Now you can order a quantity of this spoon design. This is your opportunity. If you have questions, please send me an email.

Material - Fresh Spalted Silver Maple

I’ve photographed multiple spoons together so you can get a good idea how they look, and the variations in finishing. The original dark blue spoon is a pharaoh blue, the mustard toned spoon is a marigold/mustard over pistachio green, and the silver maple spoon is pharoah blue that has been aged or relic’d to match the look of the original blue.

Note* if you’d like your spoon aged or relic’d the finish will vary as I am working with natural pigments, as well as layering of paint which I have to knock back revealing the different layers. This process is organic and turns out a little different each time making each spoon very unique. Also you are choosing the outer paint color. With multilayered paints I carefully choose the undercoat to match the theme of the spoon.

Or if you’re feeling adventurous you can select the “Surprise Me” option and allow me full artist’s control - this is where I have the most fun experimenting with texture and color combinations. Multi-layered paint effects of contrasting colors which won’t dissappoint.
